This is a great opportunity for a Sales, Inventory and Operations Manager. The manufacturing company is located in the Lake Buena Vista, FL area. Great area for all the theme parks, year around golfing, dining, fishing, boating, great food and a friendly atmosphere. Short drive to the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico. Purpose of Position: Create business change recommendations, required to meet sales and production goals annually using the sales forecast, supply forecast, and production capacity for SLT for final approval. Manage the production and capacity planning for all of the Company’s internal production plants (3 in total), in order to meet the marketing / sales forecast and do this as cost effectively as possible. Organizational Relationships LINE: Reports to the SVP Operations DIRECT REPORTS: Two Schedulers INTERFACE: Interfaces with Engineering, Manufacturing, & Operations Essential Job Functions: Direct and coach supply planning managers to meet expectations Create mid to long term plan for operations and regularly present recommendations to SLT Create and execute training plans for all department levels to meet succession planning Create and execute all planning for large business changes and new products Make recommendations to Director and VPs related to process improvements Work with Marketing, Sales, Operations, support groups to maximize profits Integrated business planning Manages the process from demand planning (forecasting) through to supply chain management (materials resource planning, scheduling) Short and long term – master plan (12 months out) through to requirements for production scheduling Works cross functionally – sales, marketing, procurement, manufacturing Establish SIOPS process Lead SIOPs reviews monthly cross functionally and with executive sponsors Recommends optimal inventory levels Leads governance and communication processes Ensures OTIF (on time in full) is being supported by materials Manages overall inventory levels for company and risks/opportunities Skills APIC’s certified Critical Thinker Highly functional at advanced Excel Self starter – forward thinker Excellent leadership, communication, organization and planning skills Minimum Requirements: Bachelor degree in business, statistics or related field. 5-7 years order fulfillment, production planning, scheduling or related experience. 5-7 years of managerial experience. 5-7 years of Supply Chain Proficient with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of best practices in demand planning and MRP software Ability to direct, develop, and manage employees Strong Customer Service values Ability to solve problems in a detailed manner and be decisive Desire to work in a fast pace environment and interact with a wide variety of employees and departments Have the ability to influence through indirect authority is essential Ability to interact with all levels of employees including SLT with confidence Other projects as assigned Must have reliable transportation.
