All dies are produced in our in-house tool room and run in our production stamping operation on automatic presses and secondary operation presses. Our dies are for precision stamping and forming of sheet metal parts produced in conventional gap frame stamping presses. We produce high quality small precision components fitting in an envelope of 1” x 6” x 6” in lot sizes from 200 parts to 200,000 parts. Position/Requirements: • Journeyman Tool and Die Maker (preferred) • 10+ years experience minimum in tool and die industry • 10+ years CAD/CAM experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks, Esprit preferred) • CNC programming on Lathes, VMC’s and wire EDM • 8+ years of designing and constructing various dies (progressive, forming, compound, and deep draw dies) • Experience with hands on tryout using analytical trouble shooting skills • Experience in certifying the tools as production ready Additional Qualifications and Skills: • Intuitive thinker - ability to think analytically and independently • Can figure out complex tooling problems using your experience and analytical skills • Ability to work effectively on their own, as well as with others at all levels of the organization • Ability to adapt to change with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability • Can read, interpret and apply blueprints, including geometric tolerance symbols with a working understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) • Working knowledge of CAD software (2d and3d) • Well organized, detailed, and process-driven with excellent communication skill Salary is commensurate with experience.
