Nebo, NC 28761 Telephone: 843-628-5021 tom@mrlowcountry.com Maintenance Manager Position, Aiken, SC area Job Type: Full-time, On-Site Position Description, Functions, Duties, and Tasks: Oversight site functions which include: o Maintenance o Continuous Improvement o Project Management Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team (SLT) engaging on cross-functional goals to improve overall site performance. Own the Maintenance processes and resources across the entire Augusta Technology Center Own the overarching procedures and processes that govern maintenance Provide maintenance resources to meet customer needs on and ongoing basis Ensuring metrics are in place and behaviors/activities align to those priorities Own the site Reliability program, serving as the local Champion, to ensure processes are in place and execution meets the expectation Own the site shutdown coordination activities. Complete all HR-related tasks such as ePM plans, development plans, succession planning, career counseling, and all other people-related aspects of the team. Responsible for the success of the lean/operational excellence program at the Union Agener Augusta Technology Center Responsible for coaching change agents towards success and development Prepares periodic reports for site leadership regarding lean/continuous improvement status and keeps central change agents informed of direction; renegotiates directions as necessary Support the achievement of site KPIs, performance improvements, the change agenda, and/or critical Safety and Quality needs using Lean/Opex principles and tools Seek to influence and support any improvement initiative associated with the lean elements of common objectives, efficient high quality and safe work, continuous improvement, and development of people Creates and owns the site Lean/Opex roadmap Own the CAPEX projects for Augusta Technology Center – planning and execution Minimum Qualification (Education, Experience and/or Training, Required Certifications): Education: Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related discipline Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated leadership skills in an operations associate, process engineer, operations manager or other manufacturing site management role Demonstrated leadership skill in leading cross-functional teams and groups of people who are not direct reports Demonstrated skill working with and negotiating with external partners Demonstrated ability in organizing and leading multiple projects and initiatives Strong technical aptitude to learn and understand new equipment and processes Able to manage workload, set priorities, and adjust as needed Ability to work well at all levels within the organization Good interpersonal skills, planning, organization and prioritizing are essential. Ability to demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs/priorities Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decisions with cross-functional alliances. Demonstrated ability to influence others to drive consistency and continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability for resource optimization. Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated lens for anticipating issues and proactively collaborating for solutions. Excellent self-management and organizational skills Demonstrated financial planning and cost accounting Additional Preferences: Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred Process-oriented personality Experience using SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Primavera, or other similar systems Deep understanding of compliance requirements and regulatory expectations (FDA or USDA and GMP industry guidelines) preferred Strong ability to multi-task
