As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Receiving Inspector to lead initiatives and drive growth in this key segment. Summary: Receiving Inspector supports Quality Assurance strategy by managing the production site’s incoming product and ensure conformity to the technical drawings. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform basic quality inspections on materials, processes and products. Record the results of inspections as instructed. Track, analyze and prepare graphs or charts of data on materials, processes and products to ensure that they meet customer and company standards. Prepare a report of the results and present it to an engineering supervisor, or to management. May perform 100% inspection or statistical sampling of assembled parts or sub-assemblies. Contact suppliers, when needed, for problems with materials, processes or product. Required skills and Qualifications High School Diploma Previous experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred Ability to read, write, and understand English Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred Use precision measuring instruments, micrometers, gauge blocks, veneer calipers, meters, and indicators Ability to distinguish colors Physical/Medical Requirements Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Must be able to lift 50 to 100 pounds.
