Surveyor Position, Royston, GA Reports to – Director of Field Services Are you searching for an organization that has a wealth of growth, tough minded and willing to go the extra mile to be the best? OBJECTIVES: To complete, while in the field, CAD generated site and floor plans with corresponding checklists and photographs in a quality manner within the recommended timeframe and within budget. Surveyors are to take and record accurate measurements inside and out of our client’s active properties and then generate on-site CAD drawings of the current / existing site and floor plan. While on-site, checklists and photographs will be generated to further describe existing conditions at each location. Daily uploads of the captured information is required. Extensive travel within the continental U.S. required. Surveyor must be comfortable with spending extended time on their feet, standing, walking and climbing. QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Basic/Entry level AutoCAD skills. •High school diploma or equivalent. (Technical degree / diploma in Computer Aided Design desired). •Background or working knowledge of commercial construction. •Ability to read and understand site plans and floor plans (Background in architectural design, space planning and utilization a plus). •Good computer skills. (Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.) •Proficient in the use of Excel spreadsheets. •Must possess a valid driver’s license. Preferred: Experience with construction / remodel of Retail Stores and/or QSR restaurant a plus. •Experience with installation of Retail Stores and/or QSR restaurant cabinets, equipment & fixtures a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES Effectively and efficiently accomplish all surveys per the assigned daily schedule. •Generate complete, quality surveys with CAD generated site plans, floorplans, checklists and photographs. •Upload (daily) all completed survey packages, safety reports and timesheets. •Complete all work when assigned, being punctual and reliable when arriving to a client’s locations. Timely report any unforeseen delays, concerns or issues to your supervisor. •Follow and support safe work habits, maintain a safe working environment at all times. KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS: Travel: Requires travel throughout the continental U.S. for periods of 3-4 weeks at a time with 1 week off for rotation. (All travel, lodging and per diem is provided by the company). Occasional extended field assignments •Customer Interaction: Requires a neat and professional appearance and candidate must possess the ability to communicate and interact with the customer and customer’s representatives always in a polite and respectable manner. •Ability to take direction, communicate and function remotely. (Must be self-motivated and eager to learn). •Must comply with, adhere to and support the company’s safety and drug-free requirements and regulations.
